3/4 C melted butter
1 1/2 C sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
3/4 C flour
1/2 C cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 C chocolate chips
1/2 C nuts (optional)
Mix all the dry stuff.
Add all the wet stuff.
(chocolate chips are dry stuff.)
DO NOT OVER MIX! It dries out the brownies.
Bake at 350 in an 8x8 pan for 40-45 minutes.
This recipe is easily doubled to bake in a 9x13 pan.
